Care Guide
Care Guide
Cleaning
Cleaning is essential to keep your wooden watch in good condition. Our natural watches are 3ATM water resistant, but avoid exposing them to running water for long periods or submerging them, as wood absorbs moisture and may warp. To clean your vegan watch, use a soft cloth to remove dirt and dust from the exterior. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the wood watch.
Storage
Proper storage will help protect your wooden watch from chips or scratches. When not in use, store it in the recycled box provided, or upgrade to a Bamboo Watch Box. Wood watches are sensitive to extreme temperatures. Although our watches are coated, natural wood can warp in hot or cold conditions. Keep your natural watch away from direct sunlight, heaters, and cold temperatures.
Other considerations
Magnetic fields can interfere with your wooden chronograph watch's functionality. Keep it away from magnets, and have it serviced regularly by professionals. Repairs should always be done by a professional when available.

Ebony & Red sandalwood
Origins
Red Sandalwood is native to southern India and parts of Southeast Asia, whilst the most valuable African Ebony comes from West Africa.
Common use
Historically used in fine woodworking, traditional medicine, and dyes, Red Sandalwood holds cultural significance in various rituals, where Ebony wood is particularly prized for its use in fine furniture and carvings. Both making a great base for our handmade natural wood watches crafted from recycled furniture.
Colours & Wood grain
Red sandalwood is characterised by a deep red colour palette which works perfectly against the rich black colour of natural Ebony wood in this sustainable watch.
Sophisticated styling: The reds, blacks, deep browns and the hint of gold help create an exquisite, well-balanced colour palette for this wrist-wearable wooden accessory. The natural patterns of the wood grain are coupled seamlessley with the intricate textured details of the strap. This strap leads into a sophisticated, powerful golden watch body that houses a delicately designed face.
Multiple Dials: A practical yet ornate feature of this wooden wristwatch is The Redwood’s multiple dials featured on the watch's face. Each dial has a dedicated functionality, including a stopwatch feature.
Handcrafted: This wooden wristwatch is handmade, paying close attention to design, detail, and quality. The Redwood elegantly flaunts its uniqueness from every angle, giving you a distinct sense of individuality. A hallmark of quality, being handmade is also a low-energy alternative, helping protect the environment.
Environmentally Conscious: The Sustainable Watch Company is proud to support reforestation, planting 10 trees with every order. We are a climate-positive business and offset 250kg of carbon per purchase, run a carbon-negative workforce and champion philanthropy, donating 1% of sales to charity.
