Cleaning

Cleaning is key to keeping your wooden watch looking good. Our wooden watches are 3ATM water resistant, but you should avoid exposing your natural watch to running water for extended periods or submerging it. Since natural wood absorbs moisture, this can cause the wood to warp. Regularly clean your sustainable watch with a soft cloth to remove dirt and dust from its exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive material as this could tarnish or scratch the wood.

Storage

Proper storage is important to avoid scratches and chips. Store your eco-friendly properly when not in use. Your sustainable watch watch comes with a recycled watch box, but if you prefer an upgrade, we also offer a Bamboo Watch Box.

To preserve your wood watch, protect it from extreme temperatures. Whilst our watches are finished and coated, natural wood can absorb moisture and warp in extreme conditions. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heaters, radiators, and cold environments.

Other considerations

Magnetic fields can affect all watches including our vegan watches. Keep your wooden watch away from magnets. Regular servicing by a professional will help maintain your watch’s lifespan. For repairs and maintenance, visit a professional service centre.

Maple wood originates from trees in North America, Europe, and Asia. The most common types are hard Maple (sugar Maple) and soft Maple (red or silver Maple) that make up this natural watch.

Maple has been used for centuries in furniture and flooring due to its hardness and durability. Whilst Maple’s fine texture makes it versatile and easy to work with, contributing to its popularity in woodworking and making it ideal for this vegan watch.
