Care Guide
Care Guide
Cleaning
Regular cleaning will help keep your wooden watch looking its best. Whilst our wood watches are 3ATM water resistant, prolonged exposure to running water or submersion should be avoided, as wood absorbs moisture and may warp. Clean your vegan watch regularly using a soft cloth, removing dust and dirt. Avoid chemicals or abrasive materials, as they are likely to scratch or tarnish the wood watch.
Storage
Keep your natural watch properly to avoid scratches or chips when not in use. Your new eco-friendly watch comes with a recycled box, but a Bamboo Watch Box is also available for those who prefer it. Extreme temperatures can warp natural wood, so protect your natural watch from direct sunlight, heaters, and cold. Although this sustainable watch is finished and coated, exposure to extreme temperatures should be avoided.
Other considerations
Keep your handmade watch away from magnetic fields, as magnets can affect its functionality. Regular servicing by a professional will help extend your recycled wood watch’s lifespan. For repairs or maintenance, take it to a watch shop or service centre.

Zebrawood
Origins
Zebrawood originates from tropical West Africa and the natural wood comes from the Microberlinia brazzavillensis tree, which thrives in dense rainforests in the region.
Common use
Because of its appearance, Zebrawood is highly sought after for fine furniture and luxury items such as this vegan watch. Zebrawood is valued not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its durability and strength. As with many exotic woods, sustainable harvesting practices are essential, which is why we only use wood recycled from furniture offcuts to craft our natural watches.
Colours & Wood grain
Zebrawood is characterised by its distinctive dark and light striped pattern visible through the body of The Oak men's watch. The unique appearance of contrasting stripes resemble a Zebra's coat… who would have thought?
Recycled Zebrawood: Zebrawood is famous for the striped patterns of its wood grain, present throughout the handcrafted watch body and dial. The Oak presents Mother Nature’s artwork.
Unique Styling: A unique combination of a circular dial, housed in a square wooden bezel. The watch face elegantly showcases the day and date dials with a distinctive red twelve embossed on the watch face. Practicality and originality.
Japanese Quartz Movement: The Oak functions with Japanese quartz movement, renowned for its accuracy, simplicity, and reliably keeping impeccable time.
Carbon-Neutrality: Our watches and straps are handmade from sustainable materials. The Oak is shipped to you carbon-neutrally and in environmentally friendly packaging. We use recycled wood to craft our watches and plant 10 trees for every purchase to support reforestation. To move towards carbon negativity, we offset 250kg of carbon per purchase and have a carbon-negative workforce.
